Fake Address Generator
Generate synthetic street addresses by locale — components and a formatted block, seeded and reproducible, entirely on this device.
These addresses are synthetic — randomly generated for testing, not real, and may not match any real location or deliver mail.

How to use it
- Choose one of fifteen locales — English, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Arabic, and more. It sets the street, city, region, and postal style and the script.
- Set the count, from one address to 1,000. A value outside that range is refused, your locale left in place, never rounded.
- Press Generate, or ⌘/Ctrl + Enter. Each press mints a fresh seed and shows it, so you can reuse the exact batch.
- Copy one card, copy them all, or download the batch as .txt or JSON. Each card is a formatted block above its labelled parts.
Need placeholder addresses for a form, a test fixture, or a demo database? Pick a locale, choose how many — one or up to a thousand — and the batch appears in your browser. Each locale shapes its own street, city, region, and postal style, so a French run reads as French and a Japanese one as Japanese. Every batch is seeded, so a shared link rebuilds it exactly.
How it works
One seeded generator drives the run: Generate mints a seed, draws each address from it, and writes it into the Share link, so the same locale, count, and seed rebuild an identical batch anywhere — while the tool stays pinned to one Faker build.
Every locale ships its own Faker data — street patterns, city and region lists, a postal-code shape — so those parts follow local convention and native script. The formatted block stacks them in a plain street, city, postal, country order; the country line stays random.
Examples
locale = English (US) · count = 2 · seed = 784795 Kutch Port Suite 402
Council Bluffs, Minnesota 06925-9157
Norway
3436 Jerde Union Apt. 744
Abbottland, Oklahoma 69603-5299
SudanTwo US addresses from one seed; ask for up to 1,000. The country is a random draw — here Norway and Sudan, not the United States.
locale = German · count = 1 · seed = 7Am Plattenbusch 47b 5 OG
Kianascheid, Sachsen 30292
KomorenGerman street, city, state, and a five-digit postal code. The country line is a separate random pick — here Komoren — so it need not match the locale.
locale = Japanese · count = 1 · seed = 71丁目8番4号 松崎502号室
悠斗市, 神奈川県 924-9069
キプロスA single Japanese address in native kanji, with a prefecture and a 000-0000 postal code. Copy and download keep the characters intact.
Every example on this page is executed against the same engine that powers the tool, on every build.
Gotchas worth knowing
These are not real addresses
These addresses are synthetic — randomly generated for testing, not real, and may not match any real location or deliver mail. Drop them into forms, demos, and fixtures, but never mail one or trust it to locate anyone. Its JSON export adds a building number and random coordinates — invented too.
Native scripts and right-to-left
Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Arabic come back in their own writing system. An Arabic address runs right-to-left inside the left-to-right page, and every code point survives copy and download as UTF-8.
Country and country code are independent
The locale drives street, city, region, and postal code, but the country name and its two-letter code are separate random draws — they need not agree with the locale or each other. For synthetic fixtures that is expected.
Same seed, same batch — per Faker build
A locale, count, and seed rebuild identical addresses only against the Faker data the tool pins; a later bump reshuffles the order. To keep a fixture, save the downloaded .txt or JSON, not just the link.
Common errors
Count must be a whole number of at least 1.- Zero, negatives, and fractions are turned away with your locale untouched. The same check runs on a restored Share link, where the count is treated as untrusted.
Names are capped at 1,000 per run in this browser tool — need more, run: node -e "const {fakerEN}=require('@faker-js/faker');for(let i=0;i<2000;i++)console.log(fakerEN.person.fullName())"- The cap is 1,000 per run, so 1,001 is refused. Because this generator shares one engine with the name and profile tools, the notice still reads "Names" and its inline command loops the name CLI; for more addresses, use the CLI below.
Unknown locale "sv". Supported locales: en, en_GB, es, fr, de, it, pt_BR, nl, ru, ja, zh_CN, ko, tr, pl, ar.- Fifteen locales sit in the dropdown; a link asking for one beyond them — Swedish here — is turned away with the accepted ids listed, so a stale or edited link breaks visibly.
FAQ
Are these real, deliverable addresses?
No. Each is synthetic — drawn at random from fictional per-locale data for testing and mockups. One may look plausible yet point to no real building or mailbox, so never mail to it or use it to verify anyone.
How do I get the same addresses again?
Every batch comes from a seed. Share folds the locale, count, and seed into a link; reopening it, or re-entering those values, rebuilds the same batch.
Can I generate addresses for one specific country?
You pick from fifteen locales, which set the street, city, region, and postal style — but not the random country line. One page and a locale menu cover it, so there is no separate page per country.
Does anything I generate leave my device?
No addresses are uploaded — each is built in your browser. The first Generate fetches the chosen locale's data file from this site; after that, making more sends nothing.
